Wow! Adobe using your image for their splash?
Yes & No :) Adobe Lightroom can be configured to use your images on the splash screen. Let me share a quick few steps to gratify yourself every time you open Lightroom!
There are 4 simple steps to do this
STEP-1: Prepare a splash screen of size 900X600 px with the image that you want - In my reference image, I took a screenshot of an earlier Lightroom splash and superimposed my image on it to make it feel like one from Adobe :)
STEP-2: Based on whether you are a windows user or a mac user copy this file over to the respective folder. If you do not find the Splash Screen folder, create one.
MAC : Users/<user>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom/Splash Screen
WIN : Users/[username]/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Lightroom/Splash Screen
Another simple option is to go to Lightroom->Preferences->Presets tab and click show
All Other Lightroom Presets. It will take you to one level above Splash Screen (i.e the
Lightroom folder).

STEP-3: Now open Lightroom Preferences and ensure the Splash screen is enabled.
Lightroom -> Preferences window (top-portion)
STEP-4: Close and re-open Lightroom - Voila! Feel the goodness of your image (but only on your Lightroom version!)
